I’ve installed it on a few systems already using the plugin installer, and it works fine. Are you looking in the POSTS and PAGES admin screens? Remember, this is a wp-admin back end item, so not theme dependant (or displayed on front-end).

    Hi

Yep … checking on the admin screens … I am testing on localhost at the moment … could that be connected?

Not sure, because it’s quite a simple plugin uses only 1 function call and 1 style sheet insert. PS. Remember to use WP3.8+ for testing as I’m using the dashicons.

On the latest version of WP … I will try in a live setup and see if it works

I tried it on a semi-live setup … completely different site and no luck

I will play around a bit more … Is there anything else you would want me to check?

Did you install it using the plugin installer in the BACKEND Plugins view, e.g.
    – Add Plugin (link at top or left)
    – Search for Post State Tags
    – Appears first in the grid list results
    – Click Install
    – Activate plugin
    – Visit the PAGE or POSTS screen
    – Change one post to DRAFT (or PENDING, PROTECTED, PRIVATE) to see results

NOTE: Unless you have DRAFT, PENDING, PROTECTED, PRIVATE or any OTHER status than published, NOTHING will change. This plugin doesn’t add anything to standard NORMAL/PUBLISHED posts. I’ll put up a note in the readme about this.

Hope it works for you now.

Please can you try this version 1.1.0 which now includes a back-end interface with enable/disable, color pickers and dashicons pickers. Phew that was a huge rewrite.
