This is a great theme, ready to go, easy to use – deserving of 5 stars, except for one issue. For the first few months it was working great, but with the last update to the theme, the slideshow stopped working. I disabled my plugins to make sure they weren’t the problem. There are some work arounds on the forums and some have gone back to an earlier version of WP and found that worked for them. I just updated to WP 3.5.1 and the slideshow still isn’t working. So, I’m waiting on the next theme update for the fix. One other thing I noticed is there are around 40 areas for widgets, which seems excessive to me, but maybe some of the larger sites with tons of members find them useful. It does have some additional features for groups that I’m not using at present.

The new version is submitted to the WP review team already, and a new one with more bugfixes will be submitted the next days.

The slideshow bug is fixed already, you can download the latest version with lot of bugfixes from the last days here at Github:

Thanks for the reply, these are issues I’m seeing with the update:
- The slideshow doesn’t recognize my custom post type anymore and is showing empty.
- The width of the widgets in the footer doesn’t match the rest of the page anymore.
- The main content area has some formatting issues – the right hand side seems to have about 100px of padding.
- in the dashboard the theme setting editor is also having some formating issues

> Have you typed it correctly? Is there posts in selected categories?

> Could you please give a link a site – don’t understant other issues.

Please test the latest version from github and let us know if the error still occurs on your site.

Download link github: https://github.com/Themekraft/Custom-Community/archive/master.zip

Open the zip, delete the hidden .project files inside and rename the folder to “custom-community”. Then upload via FTP or compress to a zip file and upload via your wp-admin.

Don’t forget to delete the old theme before. And don’t forget to make a backup if you want to be 100% sure.

from 12 hours I have the same problem with slideshow stopped,
i tryed disinstallation of theme and reinstall but slide doesn’t work
how can i do for solved bugs ? plese detail I’m new for wp and buddypress

hi mocmocmk,

download from here:
https://github.com/Themekraft/Custom-Community/archive/master.zip

open zip file.

rename folder to “custom-community”

remove .project file from the folder.

compress the folder to a zip file again.

go to the wp-admin to Appearance -> Themes

click on “upload” (in the small top menu)

select the zip file

upload and activate
