Great Free Plugin

    It’s a great plugin that does the basic of memberships and it’s free. Some may want to compare this plugin vs paid ones, but the honest truth is that if you’re wanting a simple way to add secured pages to certain user groups… this does it.

    Pros:
    Does what it’s suppose to.
    Easy to use.
    Free!

    Cons:
    Still needs a few tweaks done to it.
    Add-on’s are expensive if you buy all of them ($175 total)

    I would like to see a bundle offer for the add-on’s that saves you money or a pro paid version of this plugin. Here’s also a few features I would like to see added:

    • Recover password page redirects to login page (Dev has stated it will be added to next update), have an option in settings like the registration page does.
    • Hide/Disable Admin Toolbar from users. Perhaps have it selectable on who you hide it from on settings page by usergroup. (I know you can add coding to do this, but for others who are afraid to tweak their coding this would be an easy way to do it.)

    Overall this is a great plugin and you can’t beat free. If you need more than what it offers, you don’t need a free one anyways.

    To answer some of your questions:
    – we’re working on adding an add-on bundle in a month or so, once we release a few more payment gateways (like PayPal Pro, Stripe etc.).
    – the recover password shortcode will support a “redirect_url” parameter in the next release, it’s already in development.
    – hide/disable admin bar from users. This is also a good suggestion, I’ve added it to our development list, it should be ready in December.
