Great forum, super easy

Great forum plugin! I have never had a forum before, and tried buddy press with bbpress first (because it’s more often used…), but was struggling. While trying to figure out how it works, I stumbled upon wpforo, and thought the screenshots looked better than what I had achieved with bbpress. And I’m so happy I decided to go with wpforo, it looks great, its super easy to use, it has lots of options.

The only pity is that there are those paid extra options. I’d have loved to have the chat-function with it, but just can’t do at the moment. And I’d have loved to be able to add another plugin which does have the chat function, but that just doesn’t fly with wpforo. It doesn’t want any other plugin with such things, at least, I can’t make it work. But I get it, it is lots of work to make such plugin, so I do respect the fact the money is needed. Its just that it would be nicer for me if it was for free included ??

Thank you for the nice review.
wpForo is a free plugin and doesn’t have any paid options, and it doesn’t have pro version. All is free in this plugin.
There are separately developed extensions / addons for wpForo which are not free. wpForo addons are separate plugins and are developed to support wpForo development. They are not essential and they are not required. Please let us know what do you mean saying “chat” plugin. wpForo doesn’t have chat yet. We may develop it in future.

The idea of paid addons is very simple. It just a small donation to the hard development we do. Buying one or few addons you do the same donation like you click on [donate] button. The price of that addons include:

1. Small donation to wpForo free core development
2. Small donation to wpForo free support
3. Addon development and updates
4. Addon premium support
5. And many more minor things we do every …
