• Works a treat when transferring siteground to siteground but if you are coming from say heart internet, which we were, and this is not SG’s fault, it does fall over due to the previous host’s memory allocation. If SG introduced a way to zip the old site into packets then join at the destination this might be a solution.

Or if there was a feature on the plugin to show what memory is needed to zip the site before you transfer this would save a lot of staring at the screen time!

Apart from that a great plugin!

The necessary memory depends on the size of files you have in your wp-content folder. Check if you don’t have any huge backup files or others very big in size. If the files are big enough, every memory limit will become unsufficient at some point so there is no way we can calculate that and show it to you before we start the process.

Agreed. But would be great if the plugin could show the size of your site, pre-transfer, so you can remove large files (as some people have no idea what size their site is). Maybe one for the next update. Keep up the good work.
