I was able to get a large multisite network to share one set of SMTP credentials by enabling FluentSMTP on the network’s main domain only (i.e., I did not network-enable the plugin). After configuring the plugin on the main domain, all subdomains are sending emails using the main site’s settings.* It is so cool that I was able to do this in minutes and for free.

I have since replaced another SMTP plugin on a few of my non-multisite installs with FluentSMTP. It’s simple, it shows me logs, and it’s not nagging me for anything. It even copied credentials from the plugin it was replacing, saving me a few extra copy-and-paste steps.

    Love this! Thank you!

    Hello @alexanderbailey,

Your mention of the ease of use, the logs, and the lack of nagging are exactly the features we focused on. We want FluentSMTP to be a reliable workhorse that just gets the job done, without getting in your way.

And thank you for pointing out that the multisite workflow isn’t currently documented. We’ll definitely prioritize adding a dedicated section to our documentation to make this functionality more discoverable for other users. This kind of real-world feedback is invaluable!

Knowing that FluentSMTP is saving you time and headaches and that you’re recommending it to others means the world to us.
