Great for Backups

I’ve used Duplicator Pro for years. It’s a great tool for creating regular backups. I have it set to backup my database every 3 hours and save the backup to DropBox which then results in automatic backups to several computers. Once a day it also backups all the WordPress files except for the uploads which I exclude because there are gigabytes of image files and pdfs.
It’s been invaluable for setting up development copies of my site so I can develop and test new features.
I’ve added some server cron jobs to stroke Duplicator and the backups happen always on time. Perhaps I go overboard on backups, but it’s good to know I can easily migrate my site if I need to at any time and have it up and running quickly, or if I need to set up a development site, I can do that easily.
