Great for an html site but bad for wordpress

Ok, I first used the script on my Html site. It did the job and really I loved it.

I added it to my wordpress site and what a nightmare!

every time there is a plugin update it dies! I had this trouble past years but recently as I was at two millions counted on my main page it felt under 100 counts!!!

I checked other pages and like before some pages don’t have counts anymore…

I’m desperate to choose if I have to delete this plugin as I already hate that wordpress thing

if It can’t keep the count then it’s useless!
