Ain’t seen a better theme in 3 years! My first & last theme?

Started my WordPress journey some three years ago, my first theme being GP, also purchased GP Premium addon.

I’ve been around now. For the past six months I’ve been messing with Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder and now Genesis. It’s just that… I started with GP and I just keep thinking “Oh man, it used to be so simple to do X or Y or Z – back when I was using GP all the time”.

What is this? Is GP just so damn good that nothing just comes close? Because every other option seems to leave me stumped with either doing too much or too little thinking for me. Did I – completely coincidentally – just purchase the hands-down best WP theme(+GPP customizer) there is right at the start line?

Even with Divi, which is powerful – no doubt about it, I just end up CSS’ing my way through stuff rather than use the UI or the builder – and I end up dreaming of other solutions for plugins than the default modules. Why would I then want the modules to be installed with the few things I actually need – which can be NONE of the modules? I ask again: What is this? Why would I need anything else than GP? Like, really :l What couldn’t I build with it?

I’ve wasted a thousand dollars and a hundred working hours trying to find a “better” way when all it did was cause me to dream of GP. It just seems so improbable that what has felt so good right from the get-go would ACTUALLY be the thing that ends up BEING the good stuff!
