Great design and easy to use

  • Simple and good. Love the design and I have nothing bad to say about this theme other than when installing certain plugins, I ran into some issues. It was defiantly a compatibility issue so the plugins were removed. Thought it was the plugins having the issues, but they work fine on my other sites, on different frameworks.

    Not sure what is going on, any suggestions or ideas on how to integrate?

    Most likely, the plugins are poorly coded. It happens often. If you stop by my support forums and list the plugins, I’ll be more than happy to check them out.

    All issues have been resolved. It involved me having my friend (whom is the most knowledgeable coder I know) crack into the theme. Not exactly sure what he did because neither of us had time to discuss it, but it was an issue within the theme.

    If there is indeed an issue with the theme, you should have your friend pass the issues back upstream so that other users can get the fix. Just because something was modified within the theme to make something work doesn’t mean the issue lies within the theme itself. I can fix WordPress bugs within a theme at times depending on the nature of the bug.

    Basically, it’d help if I was actually able to see the issues. Otherwise, I have nothing to go on other than some unknown plugins are conflicting with the theme on some unknown site under some unknown host with some unknown configurations.

    Since your friend is a knowledgable coder, he probably already has a GitHub account. Please ask him to report his findings on the GitHub repo for the theme: https://github.com/justintadlock/ravel
