Great customer service, some dev opportunities
-
Initially, I gave a 4 star rating, but one year later, I have to update it to 1 star.
– Recently, I had 600 or so products unsync from Printful even though nothing from the website had changed. I contacted customer service, and there’s nothing they could do. They suggested I go and manually sync each product from what I had in my product templates. This is not the first time I’ve had to do painful grunt work due to Woo-Printful synchronization issues. Whenever something like this happens, they’ll ask you to check for server issues, and tell you they can’t do much to help.
– If there are lots of images created through Printful, the plugin will create errors when adding new products to WP. Printful will say that the product couldn’t synch due to an unknown error, and the product will be listed as “private,” but everything (product description, price, images, etc) does indeed transfer over to WP. After spending so much time trying to figure out what was going on, I found the solution: I’ve had to choose JPG product images rather than PNG for products with multiple variations, and then manually create a PNG mockup for the main product image and upload it, which is rather tedious. (This issue had nothing to do with my PHP memory limit, upload limit etc.)
– There are lots of steps involved when creating variations of a product. Wish it were more seamless.
