Great Concept, Inconsistent Performance

I appreciate that you’ve tried to create a cool and useful plugin. But, from what I’ve seen playing around with it, it doesn’t work consistently. Or at least doesn’t like blocking access to pages that use shortcodes.

I say that because I can get it to successfully block access to specific pages to anonymous users, either by page ID or page category, provided those pages do not have shortcodes. Or at least dFlip Books shortcodes). Those pages display regardless of whether or not the user is logged in or not.

I’m seeing this behavior after clearing both the serve cache (WP Super Cache) and the browser cache (by deleting everything from the last seven days, and then restarting the browser).

The same inconsistent behavior manifests itself when opening a “private” browser window.

Is there some trick to getting this plugin to play nicely with shortcode-based pages?
