[SOLVED] Great but one little problem

  • Hello,

    I’m using your plugin. It is great but there are 1 little problem. It work perfectly when I add simple product. But once I add variable product this error appear when I publish product:-

    Fatal error: Call to a member function is_on_sale() on boolean in /home/xxxxxxx/public_html/xxxxx/wp-content/plugins/woo-show-product-discount/global/class-woo-show-product-discount-manager.php on line 57

    And Yoast SEO title and description won’t save when I publish as variable product.

    Currently the only way I can save variable product is while saving Yoast SEO title and description is:-

    1. Create simple product and add Yoast SEO title/description.
    2. Publish as simple product.
    3. Edit as variable product and update.

    Fatal error above still appear when you update but Yoast SEO title/description is saved and product is updated as variable.

    Please fix this. And I will rate 5. Thanks

    I checked for the issue you mentioned but not found any.
    Are you getting this error while adding a product on WooCommerce product section?

    Although I am doing a fix, looking at the error you mentioned. I hope this is help you.

    Are you getting this error while adding a product on WooCommerce product section?

    Yes. I get this error only when I add variable product on WooCommerce. I never get this error if I add simple product on WooCommerce.

    I tried to download and install your plugin just now. But I got an error and cannot install it.

    – Unpacking the package…
    – Installing the plugin…
    – Destination folder already exists. /home/xxxxxxxx/public_html/xxxxx/wp-content/plugins/woo-show-product-discount/
    – Plugin install failed.

    Return to Plugin Installer

    UPDATE:

    Hello @simplerthansimplest,

    Just now I login to my cpanel and delete folder “woo-show-product-discount” from /home/xxxxxxxx/public_html/xxxxx/wp-content/plugins/. And I can install it normally via upload plugins.

    Currently everything work great. Actually it work BETTER than before. I feel so glad now. I can create and edit all Simple product and Variable product without any problem. I’m not sure about other 2 product types (Grouped Product and External/Affiliate Product) because I never use it. Thank you so much for fixing this error. You are awesome!
