Which avatar? The icon of the chatbot when it is reduced? Or the avatar used by the AI and the User? ?? If you are talking about the latter, have a look a my FAQ, I go through a few examples.

Avatar/icon for Popup Window Chatbot, will not change, after selecting another icon/avatar. I did a page refresh and clear and preload cache with WP Rocket plugin.

I wanted to choose my icon (nikola tesla), uploaded it to the page, now I don’t know where to enter the code ([mwai_chat avatar=”https://prerojenadezela.si/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/tesla.png“] to change it.

The avatar will change the icon used by the chatbot (not the ones in the discussion); however, I don’t see it’s in popup window mode. Are you using it?

If you use window, like above, that will work.

If you meant to use it as avatars in the discussion, try this:

You only need to insert this into the content of your page directly. Are you using the latest version?

Can you also share a direct link to your website where the chatbot is?

I use it (plugin) on our social webpage prerojenadezela.si, but access is only for selected members.

If you are using the shortcode, this is already possible. Have a look here: https://meowapps.com/ai-engine/faq/#icons-avatars (it’s at the end of a section I am pointing at), and it’s the icon_text parameter.

However, it’s always shown; if you want it to be hidden and only shown when the icon is hovered, you’ll need to write some CSS. Maybe you know how to do this already, it’s not very difficult, I can make an example.

Check the Settings, I have tried to make it simpler for you by adding a way to set an icon directly, and the text as well ?? I hope that will make it easier for you.
