Great, But DO NOT Enable Mode on Plugin Activate

    This is a great, lightweight plugin to use for a simple maintenance mode page. It allows you to change the background image, add your logo, and customize the text. That’s all a maintenance page needs.

    However! DO NOT enable maintenance mode when you ACTIVATE the plugin. It will show the default template, then you have to quickly go in an disable the mode. If I do that on my live site, people will see it and I’ll need to quickly disable it and clear my site cache…

    I saw a previous review saying the same thing and the developer said people were asking for it… Okay, so! As a developer myself of 10 years, enabling the maintenance mode on plugin activation is NOT SMART. Those who asked for the feature are NOT SMART. There is a simple on and off toggle in the settings, exactly where it should be. Activate, configure settings, THEN enable maintenance mode.
