Great, but a bit buggy

  • Great plugin! The ablility to turn a post into an event was exactly what I needed! Awesome! ?? BUT.. Unfortunately I have had to disable this plugin because of two major problems.
    1. An event with todays date will always be created when I add a new post, and I dont need events all the time.. just sometimes. I suggest having a checkbox or something that says e.g. ‘add event to this post’ or so.
    2. For some strange reason the plugin breaks the image editor in the media library. I can no longer crop images when this plugin is enabled.
    I really hope these problems can be fixed so I can use this plugin again because it’s great and I really need this functionality. ??

    Hi, thanks for your efforts with this plugin! ?? Yes I posted about this before, but I put my comment in the wrong place.. in another review.. so I created my own thread now insted.

    Well, the second problem is:

    In the admin interface, if you go to the Media gallery and click on an image, then you will get a bigger view of that image. Underneath the image is a button that says ‘Edit image’. Click on that and you will be taken to a screen where you can draw a rectangle on the image to crop it and to the right there is an information box with the width and height of the selection. So, the problem is when Event Post is activated this information box will just say NaN as in Not a Number and the cropping will not work. If Event post is deactivated then this box will show the selection width and height correctly and the cropping will work.

    Hope you see what I mean?

    Its quite strange that Event post would affect the image cropping because they seem totally unrelated. Maybe its a variable naming conflict or such?
