    Could you add a filter, please. Smth like this:

    ...
$html .= '</div>' . PHP_EOL;
$html = apply_filters('ez_toc_html', $html);

    This would be convenient for adding a noindex or for other code modifications.
    Actions ‘ez_toc_before’ and ‘ez_toc_after’ are less functional.

    I’d be willing to add more filters. I would think that a filter on the TOC div would be of very limited use. What are you looking to filter specifically? Perhaps there is a better place for the filter.
