    Big thanks for this heavily needed work.
    I understand this is the first implementation and there are many things still to come and bug to solve. Here are some of the things I recognized :

    When I activate your plugin my map [locations_map] jumps out of the div and is shown at the beginning of the page.

    The loading times are way too long.

    The locations are not shown with the correct description in the preview (wrong format).

    BTW: We planned to do the same thing in end of Jan-Feb19. Maybe we can work together to improve this.

    Thanks for your feedback.

    1) Please share a link for your [locations_map] because it does not do that on my test blogs.

    2) I really would like to see a link, as loading time should have been reduced.

    3) Do you mean the ballon content? That is taken directly from the EM settings.

    “The loading times are way too long.”
    That refers to the map tiles? Those are not included in the plugin, but always loaded from the tile.openstreetmap.org servers, as required. So any delay in that cannot be influenced by this plugin, unfortunately.

    thanks for your answers! Sorry for the delay, I can’t focus on this topic atm, but as I said I will do so in jan/feb19 (and we can cooperate on this).

    Loading times improved as far as I can tell.

    There are three major problems atm :

    1. The infos of the locations (we setup in the format settings in events manager) aren’t shown

    2. the map size is different than we set

    3. the map overlaps the containers

    Hi Ben,

    Thank you, but I cannot do anything with screenshots, really… Do you have a link to share, please? It sounds like pure css and there is no way to check that on a picture. Also, what have you entered EXACTLY in the settings, for map sizes and the balloon. Everything should work, so that’s why I am curious.

    The only thing still not to my liking is the Edit / Submit Event Page, but that is something I already took up with the EM Devs.

    Hi Ben,
    I have taken another look at your picture. It seems that the second image has a very simple explanation.

    I see only one marker and you talk about [locations_map]. There is a big difference between [locations_map] and #_LOCATIONMAP. First of all: single vs plural. The shortcode is meant to show multiple markers and takes its balloon info from Events → Formatting → Maps → Global Map Format, while the #_LOCATIONMAP placeholder gets it from Events → Formatting → Maps →Single Location/Event Map Format.
    Just like the EM form fields already indicate. ?? Might that be the cause of the different balloon content?
