• Great plugin, exactly what I was looking for. However it seems to report false positives when using Raygun’s “Q and A FAQ and Knowledge Base for WordPress” v. 1.0.6.2 plugin. Each FAQ is reported as a 404 error. Other than tha, please keep up the great work! Thanks a lot.

Thank you for your review of the Link Checker and the information. I’m happy that you like the plugin.

Could you please send me the link to your website that I could verify and fix the issue?

    Thank you in advance.

    Best regards
    Marco

    Thank you for your feedback!

I have now fixed the bug. The issue was caused by the way white spaces were handled. You had a leading space before one link URL on the affected pages. This is fine according to the HTML specification, but the white spaces were not handled correctly by the Link Checker.

However, the found broken links were not false positives. Mainly the output was affected and the URLs of the broken links were unreadable in the broken links overview page.

You could now use the Link Checker again and should find the broken links. All links leading to the “N?o encontrado” page are broken. The “N?o encontrado” page delivers the status code 404.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

    Best regards
    Marco
