• Hi All,

Within the last 24/48 hours or so, we’ve run into an issue where our forms stopped generating emails. Of course, I want to see if there’s a plugin conflict and it appears to be that there is a conflict between Gravity PDF extended and Gravity forms. (I updated all plugins being used, turned other plugins on/off and the PDF generation seems to be the issue.)

The front end user would submit a form just fine and the database would record the entry, but it would not generate any notifications (pdf or email based.)

I turned off the Gravity PDF plugin and resubmitted a variety of forms (short, long, etc.) and all the emails came through. Any thoughts/changes as to why all of a sudden our beloved Gravity PDF extended would cause issues?

    Hi,

This issue is likely WP Memory related. Increasing your memory may help resolve the problem. Here’s some info about how to go about doing that.

You can also verify what’s going on by following our debug guide (start from step 2). Post any errors here and I’ll take a look.

Thanks Jake, I’ll have to take a look when I get home and have access to my files.

Question (for a noob like me)… we’ve had some bots trying to login using bruteforce attacks. Obviously this is eating some of our hosting resources (even though we have unlimited)… could this also be contributing to the issue?

I don’t believe the bruteforce attacks would cause the kind of WP memory issue I’m referring to, but I’ll know more when you can post the PHP errors generated when submitting your Gravity Form.

Ok Jake, so I updated the memory, which seemed like it helped. However, after I made the changes to the memory, our TinyCME bar stopped working. I made a new plugins folder and moved them one by one; it seems that Gravity Forms broke the TinyCME interface. (you can see the detail of my issue here. Deactivating the plugin doesn’t fix the visual editor, but if I delete the plugin in it’s entirety, it fixes it and the visual editor works. Any insight into this?

It sounds like a Javascript error preventing TinyMCE from loading. You should follow this guide and provide the error from your browser’s console here so I can help you further.

This is the group of errors I get in Chrome.

Thanks. None of those errors are related to Gravity PDF so I don’t have any course of action on how to fix your problem. And after re-reading your previous message about Gravity Forms (not Gravity PDF) being the problem plugin I recommend you get in touch with their support team for additional help.
