    Hello Support-Team,

I am currently working at a website with gravity forms and used this plugin to integrate the hCaptcha. The setup is easy and the captcha is displayed and working as it should.

Except: you can send the form without doing the hCaptcha question!

I can reproduce this bug with a clean new WordPress install with just the standard theme installed and just the gravity forms and hCaptcha plugin installed.
So this can’t be influenced by another plugin oder custom theme.

Can you confirm this behavior? This is a bug, right?

    Kind regards,
    Mona

    Hello, @innovationsraum.

No, it is not valid. We release our code upon careful testing. I have re-tested the Gravity Form now in case the latest updates broke something. The hCaptcha works as requested with the form, not allowing to send the form without solving hCaptcha.

For further discussion, you can open the support ticket on our GitHub.

    Thank you.

I have exactly the same issue. hCaptcha is still not a required field and the form can be submitted still. Is there any new information?

@thebenst Nope, still not working… We ended up just using a different hCaptcha Plugin by Web & App Easy B.V.

@innovationsraum @thebenst Unfortunately, I cannot confirm the issue and cannot fix it unless you provide the sequence of steps to get this issue.

Or, what is better, create a minimal reproducible example on a test site (containing no sensitive information, just WP, GF, hCaptcha and 1 form) and give me access to such a test site.

I would be happy to help in this case.
