• Hi,

on the plugin-section you can read the following text as description of the plugin: “Save form submissions to the database from Contact Form 7, Fast Secure Contact Form, JetPack Contact Form and Gravity Forms.”.

I bought “Gravity Forms” for 39$ and had to realize that “Contact Form DB” can NOT read/save fields from “Gravity Forms”. You just can read (shorcode) the fields “Submitted”, “Submitted Login” and “Submitted From”!!! So perhaps you should delete “Gravity Forms” in your description.

    Best regards, alex

CFDB does work with Gravity Forms according to my testing and other users using it.

    Hi Michael,

CFDB does not appear to be working with the latest version of Gravity Forms. All the fields in the table are indeed empty except for submitted time, submitted from and submitted login.

It definitely used to work with previous versions of GF.

Huh – thank you Michael. I nearly thought that I am too stupid for this plugin ??

It seems that GF stores all the single fields of a form (except the mentioned “submitted …”) in ONE table-field per data set. And this circumstance could be the problem for CFDB to interpret.

    Ciao Alex

    Good Afternoon
I am having the exact same issue. The orders are not going into the database. The fields are being created however the only fields that are populating are summited time, submitted from and submitted login

OK, I see there is a problem.

CFDB is not working with Gravity Forms 1.9.1.2 but does work with 1.8.5.

    I’ll investigate and update CFDB.

    Thanks Michael!
In the meantime I installed back the previous version of Gravity Forms and it works.
I didn’t have it saved but used the one from my site backup and installed it back on my server (in case anybody would have the same issue).

I’m pushing a fix in CFDB 2.8.31 now.

Thanks Michael. Just a reminder, you created a great plugin.

Thanks Michael, The update your made has revolved this issue. Thanks again for the great plugin

I’m wondering if our issue is the same. We have a gravity form where the entries are connected to our big work database. For the past 5 days, the entries are not being passed through to our database. I can see the entries in Gravity Forms. Is this the same issue? This is an emergency situation for us. Please advise or let me know what information you need from me.

I was using a plugin called Contact Form DB and I could see that it was showing the last 5 submissions as null.

@kdumas123 upgrade to CFDB 2.8.31 then try it.

Actually, I thought I was in a gravity forms forum. I was getting an error with Contact Form DB about a non-responsive script. I already have the latest version. The last 5 forms submitted produced null results as seen in CFDB. However, when I look in Gravity Forms, the information is there when I look at Entries. It just wasn’t showing up in CFDB. But I don’t think that’s the only problem. It wasn’t going to our larger work database where everything was mapped to be pushed. That’s the most important and critical thing. Something has happened where the information is not being passed either to our DB or your DB.

If you go to your plugins page, it should show CFDB has an update. If it does not, perhaps your site hasn’t checked for updates yet. I don’t know how to force it to check for an update.

I edited my last post to you. Not sure if you saw that.

    Here it is:

Actually, I thought I was in a gravity forms forum. I WAS getting an error with Contact Form DB about a non-responsive script that I get when trying to view our form results (see screenshot: https://boostacademy.com/error.jpg )

I already have the latest version. The last 5 forms submitted produced null results as viewed in CFDB. However, when I look in Gravity Forms, the information is there when I look at Entries. It just wasn’t showing up in CFDB. More importantly, the entry is not populating in our big work database where everything was mapped to be pushed. It has worked flawlessly for at least 6 months. That’s the most important and critical thing. Something has happened where the information is not being passed either to our DB or your DB. Again, the entries can be seen in Gravity forms so something is stopping it from passing on the information to where we need it to go.
