• Two questions connected to Gravity Forms

    1
We put our gravity forms onto pages, for each event. Because we have a page title, and a form title (which we need to be the same), on the RSVP page we end up with two identical titles. I’ve tried leaving the ‘Form Title’ field empty, which works in terms of how the webpage displays, but in the Dashboard when looking up forms it has no identifying name at all which gets really confusing. How can I both enter a form title, and hide it from public display?
    Example: https://grsj.arts.ubc.ca/rsvp-mother-ourselves-audre-lorde/

    2
Our forms gather RSVPs for individual events. Sometimes, we would like to send out a notice to all those who have RSVPd for an event. Can the ‘Notifications’ feature/tab be used for this, and if so how does it work?

    Thanks

    Lisa

  • 1) In the editor, if you click the “Insert Form” button, it should give you the option to show/hide both the form title and description.

If you use a commercial plugin and need support, please go to their official support channel. In order to be good stewards of the WordPress community, we feel it’s important to direct people to those official locations.

Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why your commercial theme or plugin is not working properly. This is one other reason why volunteers forward you to the commercial product’s vendors. The vendors are responsible for supporting their commercial product.

For item 1 @ Matt is correct, just uncheck the Show Form Title checkbox when adding forms to pages or posts.

And, MacManX is also correct, that this is the general policy, but it does not preclude the WP Community from replying here if they decide to.

    I do.

So, for 2, here is a solution:

    https://www.gravityforms.com/add-ons/mailchimp/

    https://www.gravityhelp.com/documentation/page/MailChimp_Add-On

This let’s you email just those who have an Entry on a Specific Form. (Note: This Gravity Forms Add-On is a Basic Add-On and is available only to Business & Developer License holders.)

Yep, it looks Matt Zak had posted while I was writing that.

I didn’t mean to preclude anyone from replying here, it is a popular plugin after all. ??
