Hi, we’ve got a gravity form in a popup and after submission, it redirects to Pardot to put the form contents into Pardot’s database. Works great. However, when the user is redirected back to the page, the popup still appears even though the cookie we’ve set should close the popup after form submission. Since we have Forced Interaction preventing the closing of the popup, the user cannot close the popup.

Is there any workaround? It actually works fine in Chrome, but not any other browsers.

    Hello @squiggy45

    Thank you for reaching out!

I’m sorry to hear you’re having this trouble with the cookie event. Since the cookies work with Chrome, we may need to escalate this issue to our lead developer.

Could you please send us a message at https://wppopupmaker.com/support including the URL on where we can investigate the issue. Thank you!

May we also know if you are using a private or incognito window when testing the popup with the cookie event form submission? If yes, please note that private and incognito windows don’t record the cookies. Cookie event will only work on regular browsers.

Thank you, and we look forward to your response.

I have escalated the issue to our lead developer. However, it seems our lead developer is still investigating the issue, and we haven’t received a reply. Once we get information for ticket #18968, we will reply to the ticket with an update.

Thank you for your kind understanding with this matter.
