    Hi:

I’ve used this plugin several times, and I love it!

But I’m getting this issue and I don’t know how to solve it.

When I open a popup with a gravity form inside, my form has a css rule display:none, and it’s not shown at all. (I’ve added a display:block !important rule but I think that is not very clean, the issue should be solved)

I understand it must have that rule if trigger doesn’t happen (a button in this case) but rule should be removed when button is triggered, shouldn’t be?

I’ve done exactly the same before in other site (see for instance noenraja.cat) and it works perfectly. Same version of divi, same version of divi popups, same version of gravity forms.

Besides, When I add my form not in a popup, the conditional rules work. But inside the popup it doesn’t work.

Can you please take a look? You can test it pressing button called “Contacta” in the green background section.

Ajax is true in my GF shortcode.

    Thanks very much

  • Hi @inextable,

Sure, I will be happy to assist you in resolving your issue with Gravity Forms.

I’ve checked and can confirm that there’s no issue with the Gravity Form in your popup.
    See here: https://share.zight.com/wbuBbgJJ

I tested the form submission and found that the form was submitted just as expected.

For your information, Popups for Divi, being a lite version, has limited support for dynamic content within the popup.

You can switch to Divi Areas Pro. It allows you to create global popups and comes with multiple features, area behavior, area conditions, and integrations. And further supports most of the dynamic elements/contents within the popup.
    See here: https://divimode.com/divi-areas-pro/

I hope this information helps. Please do not hesitate to ask any further questions. Thank you.

    Hi:

thanks very much for your answer. I have checked and It shows ok in Chrome but not in Firefox (in firefox conditional logic doesn’t work). Can you please have a look?

    Tanks again

    Hi @inextable,

Sure, I will be happy to assist you with the same.

Could you please help me with further details on your applied conditional logic?

I will be looking forward to your response. Thank you.

    Hi @mrrohitbhardwaj:

Thanks for your answer. Sure, I’ll try to explain myself.

The question “En quin context seria l’instal·lació de vàter sec?” should be shown ONLY if user answers “Instal·lació de vàter sec” (first radio button option) to the question “Selecciona el motiu principal de la teva consulta” (Second question).

That works in Chrome but not in Firefox.

Actually in Firefox, if you click in one of the radio buttons in second question (except the first one), then the third question gets hidden and then it works.

And one more thing: I had to add some lines of css to form in order to be shown in Firefox. Without these lines, form inside popup is totally display:none.

    These are the lines:

    gform_wrapper_1{ display:block !important; }

In order you to see the issue, I’ve disabled these lines, now form is not shown inside popup in Firefox

    Hi @inextable,

Thank you for updating us. Sure, I will investigate further and assist you with the same.

I checked and confirmed and found no issue with the popup in Firefox.

In certain situations, the dynamic elements work as expected; however, “Popups for Divi” has very limited support for the dynamic elements, so you may encounter issues with dynamic elements that heavily rely on JS. This also applies to your applied inline CSS, as the plugin has limited Gravity Forms support.

For better performance with Gravity Forms, which needs dynamic elements like Ajax, consider upgrading to Divi Areas Pro.

As Divi Areas Pro comes with a 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee, you can test your form, confirm the difference, and accordingly go ahead.

I hope this information helps. Please do not hesitate to ask any further questions. Thank you.

    Hi @inextable,

Sure, I will investigate further and assist you in resolving your issue.

I checked and confirmed your site on a smartphone and found no issue with the form within the popup.
    See here: https://share.zight.com/geuBdLxg

When I investigated further, I found Divi Cache active on your site.
    See here: https://share.zight.com/YEuJBnx4

You can clear your “Static CSS File Generation.”

Although I cannot assure you that the site’s Divi Cache is solely responsible for the issue, in certain situations, browser cache and server cache also cause similar issues with differences in results as compared to the published version. Navigating to a private/incognito window will assist you in confirming the same.

I hope this information helps. Please do not hesitate to ask any further questions.
