Gravatar keeps defaulting

  • Not sure that it will be in the link provided it only happens when i share my page. It reverts back to the invisible/black guy. I have been struggling with this for about a year and have had several help from IT. Can someone tell me why this is happening.

  • I see you’re using All in One SEO which has a way to fix this. Go into your WP dashboard, then go to All In One SEO->Feature Manager. From here, activate the Social Meta feature and then click on All In One SEO->Social Meta in the left hand menu.

    Scroll down to the Image Settings section and you should see the option for ‘Select OG:Image Source’ list first which is where you can change this. Change it to what you would like to use or upload your own. Update the options and then it should start working. You can use the Facebook Debugger here

    To test to see how Facebook sees the data for your site. Just click on the ‘Scrape Again’ button after you’ve updated your image in the dashboard and it should update for you.

    Hello thank you for your reply but its not working I have several photos of links I have tried to share and cannot attach them here.

    I have tried with the scrape again feature and it is still not working correctly.
    I have tried sharing the link to all medias including text and email and the avatar is still empty

    What is the URL to the image that you want to display for the homepage of the site?
