Gravatar Hovercards … corrupt?

    Problem: my gravatar appears, but my hovercard will not… it spins the wheel thinking about it forever. But it works for all other gravatars.

    Hi, I’m using the latest Jetpack and WP, w/ the Mantra theme. derekbeck.com is the site, and see https://www.derekbeck.com/1775/info/warren-forensic-analysis/ comments area as an example where my hovercard is not working.

    Basically, other hovercards work fine: see that same link, the author byline at the top. That author is a user on my site. But my personal own gravatar appears but the hovercard will not.

    I’ve tried changing to alternate emails on my gravatar, to no avail. I’ve created a new user account for me, w/ an alternate email, but no luck.

    Now, if I go to my (hidden) test site, my hovercard comes up fine.

    It implies some corruption, but I cannot figure out where. I did recently upgrade my site with a fresh install and imported my old posts into this fresh install.

    Any ideas?

    Nevermind: I didn’t have the primary email setup in my new wordpress build. Apparently, hovercards only work with the primary gravatar address, not secondary ones (though the gravatar image will appear w/ secondary ones).
