Ah, I just noticed an unlinked URL to your site above. ??

That site is actually a WordPress.com site, while this forum is for self-hosted WordPress sites where you install the WordPress software on your own server.

The Gravatar in Ryu is tied to the site owner’s email address. Check the address under https://wordpress.com/settings/account/ and make sure a Gravatar is set up for that email address.

Thank you very much for your quick and helpful response. I fixed my url from alexday.me to adaythinking.wordpress.com, but I haven’t seen a change in my image yet. All of my email addresses are linked to [email removed for privacy]. Can you see if I made the change incorrectly? I’m dying to figure this out.

Sidenote: I also seem to have a hanging bullet point next to my one Page title “about” at the top of my homepage, so it looks like I have two pages with one title-less page.
