    After the update of 4.2.1. my website no longer shows the pictures of people who have written a comment. I contacted the developer of the theme I am using and he informed me that the problem is with Gravatar. The helpfunction at the Gravatar site is closed so i hope that one of you can help me.

    My website is https://www.biancamagielse.nl.
    The theme I use is Inkness Plus from Inkhive.

    Do Gravatars display if you temporarily switch to the Twenty Fifteen theme?

    Yes. When switching to the Twenty Fifteen theme, the Gravatars display again.

    Ok, then the problem definitely isn’t with Gravatar. It may be with how the theme is implementing Gravatars, but the Gravatar service itself is working properly.

    As that is a commercial theme, we ask that you please go to their official support channel. In order to be good stewards of the WordPress community, and encourage innovation and progress, we feel it’s important to direct people to those official locations.

    Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why your commercial theme is not working properly. This is one other reason why volunteers forward you to the commercial product’s vendors. The vendors are responsible for supporting their commercial product.

    I already contacted the developer of the theme who informed me that the problem was not with the theme but with gravatar. The supportpage of Gravatar informed me to ask my question here.

    I will contact the developer again and ask him to look for the problem again.

    You’re welcome! Just let the theme developer know you have no issue with Gravatars in other themes.
