[Grassblade] LearnDash not issuing badges

Hello, I understand there is incompatibility between badgeos and grassblade LRS (used for tracking LearnDash course activity). I searched and found a few articles but nothing clear about the status or if there is progress.

I did find feedback about this plugin https://pastebin.com/ieXYGFji that allows Grassblade content to award Badges. Does this work? Would I add it to functions.php? I really hope it can work because I love using badgeos!
