I am comparing your plugin versus NextGen in order to make a decision. Although the general navigation functionality is good, there are various aesthetic and graphic layout problems.

To see the comparison in action see:
    https://www.virtualartacademy.com/bato-dugarzhapov/
    Landscapes: NextGen gallery
    Snowscapes/Interiors: Photo Gallery 10Web

Now I think your slide navigation system is superior to NextGen by far – it is more usable. However there are some aesthetic issues and graphic design issues with your display:

    Issue #1: Yellow dots
The one issue is the yellow dots . You can see them on this link.
    https://www.virtualartacademy.com/bato-dugarzhapov/
These negatively affect the look of the images by interfering with the aesthetic feel of the page, and need to be removed.

Issue #2 : Aesthetic design and cleanliness of layout.

There is also are several other issues related to the aesthetics of the graphic design of the screen layout. In this respect Nextgen is far more attractive. However i think you should be able to fix them (you might want to do that in your product so you can compete better with Nextgen).

    2a: White space between galleries.
Nextgen has a much bigger white space between the slideshow gallery and the grid gallery. This is better and cleaner aesthetically.

2b: White space between columns in grid gallery
Nextgen has a large whitespace between the two columns in the grid layout. Once again, this looks much cleaner aesthetically.

    2c. White background
The white background in your plugin is a different color of gray from my website background. This puts the large image inside a second box. Look how much cleaner the NextGen slideshow image is. It displays within the color of my website background without adding a second rectangle to clutter the display.

2d. Size of image in slideshow
The size of the image in the Nextgen slideshow is somewhat larger and seems to make better use of the available screen (macbook in my case). The slides are smaller in your plugin. If they could be adjusted to look like the Nextgen slideshow size it would be perfect. That would slightly reduce the need for the user to click on the slide to view the images in the light box which increases usability somewhat.

I hope you find these suggestions useful. As I said, I think your user navigation is superior, and if you could fix what in essence are graphic layout design issues, I think you would have a hands-down winner product.

Just take a look at the two nextgen galleries under Landscapes and you’ll see that it has a nice uncluttered and clean look. Whereas if you look at the two photo galleries under snowscapes, the screen feels cluttered and is not so pleasing to look at or to be able to appreciate the images.

    best regards
    and thanks again for listening

Since I am comparing the free version for the moment, it looks like I will have to choose Nextgen as I cannot fix the 20web plugin UI problems without upgrading. It’s a pity your free plugin has these problems.

    Dear @barryjohn2005,

    Sorry for the belated response.

I will let the development team know about your remarks.

We are constantly working on both free and premium versions and improving their UI/UX.
