Granting points to subscribers only

    Hello all!

    I am using GamiPress on my site that includes BuddyBoss and WooCommerce.

    This is my first attempt to use all 3 of these products, so apologies if this is a newbie question.

    When a user signs up as a member in my BuddyBoss site (forums and groups), they are at the Subscriber level.

    People who create accounts in my WooCommerce (shopping) are at the Customer level.

    I am giving Points to my subscribers when they join and then each time they log in. Unfortunately, GamiPress is also awarding points to my WooCommerce Customers.

    Question: How do I prevent Customer level users and also Admins from receiving points for logging in?

    Any hints appreciated!

    Exactly, what your “Subscriber level” and “Customer level” are?

    If they are WordPress roles, then you can use our Block Users add-on to block the users of your choice by role:

    If those levels are BuddyBoss profile types, then our BuddyBoss integrations includes a similar feature than Block Users but for the BuddyBoss profile types

    Note: Both add-ons will block the users to any of the rewards from Gamipress, if you want to restrict only the points, then you may need our add-on Restrict Unlock that you can check here:

    Hi, and thanks for these recommendations. I haven’t been able to try these solutions out yet – not sure why this was marked resolved.

    Subscribers – Buddyboss users (paid users via PaidMembershipsPro)
    Customers – default user for WooCommerce

    I’ll report my results after trying these solutions. ??

    –> Reporting back. Tried the first add-on, GamiPress Block Users, added the desired role to block, and it worked. ??
