    Howdy! I’m working on getting this set up for the first time, and though everything seems to be configured correctly according to the instructions, the OAuth process doesn’t seem to be completing successfully.

    I currently have the “Grant permission with Google” alert at the top of my screen. When I do that, I get the “Sign in with Google” screen, I choose my account (the same account defined within the plugin), click “Allow” to allow my organization (through the plugin) to access that email account…but then it loads my webpage’s main page, and when I go back into the WordPress dashboard, I see the “Postman is not configured…” alert at the top of the dashboard.

    I feel like this is probably a minor misconfiguration on my end somewhere, but at this point I’ve stepped through the setup process a few times and haven’t made any progress in figuring out what I’ve done wrong.

    @djwudi Hi,

    I hope you are doing well.

    I think it’s a configuration issue, watch the video here and configure it again and at the time of granting permission, if it’s not working on the first attempt, then try again and see if its works.

    Thanks

    Hi M,

    I went through all of that — even clearing Post SMTP’s settings, and rebuilding the the credentials and OAuth Consent Screen in Google from scratch — and am still having the same issue. The “You have configured OAuth 2.0 authentication, but have not received permission to use it. Grant permission with Google.” error is still at the top of the Post SMTP screen, and though the test email says “success”, nothing comes through.

    I also noticed that in the video you linked me to, the same issue seems to be present — even after going through the Grant Permission steps, your video still shows the “You have configured OAuth 2.0 authentication, but have not received permission to use it. Grant permission with Google.” error by the end of the video.
