Grab URL as notes for Product?

  • Hi Guys!

    Does anyone know how to grab the current URL or File name and automatically add it in as Notes or the Product name in the cart?

    Reason for asking is I would like to sell Images but there are not many good plugins out there for Digital Image Selling yet. Also Having more than 100,000 images makes it a long time to add it one by one or even using a plugin to batch add it.

    My idea is to have an “Add to Cart” Button or Text link in the Caption of the Image, this is a generic Woocommerce Product that would be for in this example named “Digital Image Download”.

    When you click that link in the Image Caption, it grabs the URL of the Image or even the Image File name part that is in the URL and add it in the Notes of the Product or replaces the name of the product.

    This will allow us to locate the Image on our Archives and just send the Digital Download to the customer via email attachment or Download Link.

    Any solutions to this?
