You should be able to edit that via customizer. Do you have any plugins on this site that the other site doesn’t? There might be plugin conflicts.

Hello @robin, I recommend Rank Math if you are already using it for SEO purposes, you can generate a nice table of content like this one here (https://coursepivot.com/blog/design-a-wordpress-website-in-7-steps-guide/) and you can also select the kind of heading tags to remove or add.

How to add the table of content in the content from Rank Math SEO?

Currently I’m using Yoast for SEO purpose and using Rank Math for instant indexing.

For the table of contents, add per individual posts. Some posts may generate a lot of headings so you may need to disable lower levels like H5 and H6 to make the table of contents brief where necessary. So do for each post so you make these decisions based on content.

You can also organize the table of contents to eliminate some headings and put it wherever you want in the article like this blog here
