Anti-Malware Security and Brute-Force Firewall by GOTMLS locks me out of my own site. When I try to log in it gives me a message about brute force attack. Continual retrying will eventually let me in.

I use this plugin primarily to scan the site for malware and I am happy with that function so I do not want to delete it and look for something else. Any any suggestions on how to stop this behaviour will be welcome.

    Paul

  • Sorry I missed this post, I never got the notification. Anyway, this sounds like a caching issue. You need to refresh the wp-login page so that it generates the right key for your login attempt. If you are using any caching plugin try disabling them of check the settings to see if you can omit the login page.

You can also turn off that feature that is blocking you on the Anti-Mallware – Firewall setting page.
