I can install it and all, but after WordPress informs me that it had to inactivate the plugin because it caused a serious error.

Well the error message goes like this:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /storage/content/84/153984/domainname.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/user-tags/UserTags.php on line 221

    Hope it helps!

What version of PHP you are on?

I’ve used Annonymous function which requires PHP 5.3 or greater.

    Thanks

    Hi @silverbackmedia,

Can you paste the PHP version here. That error is related to Annonymous or closures in PHP, which occures only for PHP version older than 5.3

There is no other reason for that to happen, as it has nothing to do with multisite, just to make sure I tested on my multisite as well.

    Thanks

    Hi @umesh Kumar

    I’m currently using 5.4.26 ??

I believe you, maybe there is a collision with other plugins. If you’re interested to know which plugins I use, I can do that in effort to help the development of the plugin ??

    Hi @silverbackmedia,

Thanks, yes definitely I’d like to help you solve the issue.

Instead of plugin list, it’ll be faster if you can share your site login details and FTP, so that I can debug it on your site, as replicating the same problem would take more time.
If you are interested in sharing details, you can mail me at [email protected]

    Hi @silverbackmedia,

The latest update should probably fix the issue for you, as I’ve completely remove the closures from plugin.

    Cheers
