    Hi,

    After getting error of following…

    Security Log File Size is: 6219.46 KB
    Your Security Log file is very large which will cause the BPS Options page to load much slower.
    To Fix this issue Click Here to go to the Security Log page and copy and paste the Security Log file contents into a Notepad text file on your computer and save it.
    Then click the Delete Log button to delete the contents of this Log file. If you have BPS Pro your Log files are zipped, emailed and deleted automatically.
    ##################################

    When I tried to click on security log page or BPS setting then I got following error..

    Internal Server Error

    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

    Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

    More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

    Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    Due to above error, I am unable to truncate log file even not able to see setting of BPS security plugin. I also tried to remove plugin and re-install again but issue persists.

    Kindly help.

    Yep, very good point. I will add additional help information to the displayed message and read me help file – Example: “…if you are unable to view the Security Log page, then FTP to your website and download the Security Log file from /wp-content/bps-backup/logs/http_error_log.txt to your computer and delete it from your website.”

    I think an addtional option is needed: Add an additional option to allow folks to choose to not automatically display the log file contents and use a Show Log File button instead.

    Hi,

    Thanks for updating. I am able to delete error_log and now able to see all setting and plugin is working now. Kindly tell me how to “Add an additional option to allow folks to choose to not automatically display the log file contents”?

    That feature does not exist yet in BPS .48.2 and will be created/added in BPS .48.3.
