Gosh! ALLOW Shipping Class & Product Category ID to be SLUG!!!

If you take a look at the schema here – https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/wiki/Product-CSV-Import-Schema#csv-columns-and-formatting, you’ll see that those map to the respective IDs.

A non-developer user is more likely to remember the actual names that they’ve set for these fields than an ID that they need to look up via MySQL or have their developer confirm for them.

I’ll go ahead and mark this as resolved.

Will you stop marking my threads as resolved after giving simplistic responses that miss the point entirely?

I did not mean MySQL IDs, l meant the ID that we ourselves assigned e.g. via the slug, rather than the full name.

I also said in the OP that there can be an upside to writing it all out instead of using an abbreviated ID, so basically your reply says NOTHING new.
