I am reaching out to request your immediate assistance with resolving two critical issues that we are encountering with the Packeta,CheckoutWC and GoPay plugins on our WordPress site. These issues are affecting the user experience and functionality of our payment and shipping process. Detailed descriptions of each issue are provided below:
- Interference Between Widgets on Desktop: We have enabled the “Automatically open widget when shipping is selected” option in the Packeta official plugin. However, when the GoPay plugin displays the widget for card detail entry, the Packeta widget is also re-triggered. This issue is confined to the desktop view and does not affect mobile users.
- Redirection Issue on Payment Failure: In instances where a payment fails, the intended behavior is for the GoPay plugin to redirect the user back to the CheckoutWC checkout page. Instead, it redirects users to the default WordPress checkout page, disrupting the intended checkout flow and user experience.
Given these problems, we would appreciate guidance on how to modify the plugins to prevent these conflicts. Specifically, we seek a solution that prevents the Packeta widget from reopening when the GoPay widget is active, and ensures that failed payment redirections go to the CheckoutWC page as intended.
