This plugin enables a feature called a€?suggest”. Whenever you type a character in the search field of your blog site, suggestions are being presented. You can select these suggestions and hit enter, to execute a search request.

hello all,

i’ve been trying to get the Suggest plugin to work, but just can’t
seem to figure out what i’m doing wrong…

in the suggest.php, i’ve tried different $suggest_paths:

“/buzzword/wp-content/plugins/”
“/buzzword/wp-content/plugins/suggest/”
“/home/sites/home/web/buzzword/wp-content/plugins/”
“/home/sites/home/web/buzzword/wp-content/plugins/suggest/”

but nothing seems to work ?? and i’m not sure what else might be the problem

i would really like to get this plugin working if anyone has any ideas about what the problem might be…

ok nevermind, david was very considerate and exchanged several emails with me about my problem and i finally realized that it’s actually working — it’s just that my site has so many entries and the server is overworked so it’s just so long to come up with suggestions that it *seems* not to work. thanks to david for all the help!
