Googlebot behaviour on my blog

  • Sorry if this one is a little bit out of topic.

    I’ve noticed that googlebot is crawling my blog everyday but it never follows a link to the rest of content.
    It comes only to the root and gets the atom feed.
    I know my blog is new, it only has a few weeks running but the bot is doing the same day after day.
    Only the index page is already indexed (with no description at all).
    Perhaps I have to consider using sitemaps..
    Im notin a hurry, not obsessed with bots, but anyway would like to know if you guys found this kind of behaivour in your blogs. Just comes, takes the feed and runs away.
