Googlebot and Genesis integration query

  • Hello,

    1) Does this plugin allow the comments to be read by Googlebot? I need the comments to still be on the page, but just visible when the user scrolls down.

    2) I have read over an old post on this support forum on how to make it compatible for the Genesis framework, however it completely removes all styling. Is there a better way of doing this (default behavior just hides all comments and nothing appears when you scroll down) ?

    NOTE: I have disabled jquery migrate, which shouldn’t be an issue. However, it is worth noting that the comments do appear (unstyled) with the modification, and this wouldn’t happen if it was missing js migrate components).

    This plugin will not hide comments to Google bot. So you are safe to use it.

    About the Genesis styling issues, this plugin does not make any style changes. I don’t have a Genesis account to verify this.
