Glad to hear that you were since able to connect Site Kit by disabling IPv6.

Rather than disabling IPv6, I can check with your hosting provider to see if they can ensure that your address is whitelisted to communicate with Google servers? In such cases what seems to be happening isn’t specific to Frankfurt servers, it’s more a case that you’re IPv6 address is within a block that has one or more IPv6 addresses hosted in regions where Google services are blocked.

If you do wish for me to check this with your hosting provider please share your Site Health information along with your IPv6 address. Within the form when sharing your Site Health information you can confirm your current hosting provider.

Many thanks for sharing this, very useful indeed. I’ll request a check to confirm whether you’re IPv6 address is restricted and report back to you here once I have an update. If this is the case, I’ll provide your hosting provider with some suggestions to ensure you can enable IPv6 once more.

Note also that such blocks can be temporary, however, they do fall outside the scope of what we can address here on the plugin site. I’ll keep you updated, thank you!

Thanks for your patience on this @mrj0b. I got a response regarding a check for your IPv6 address and I can confirm it is blocked backed on the IP range it falls within.

I’ve reached out to your hosting provider with some suggestions to ensure users on the same server can connect with Site Kit. As you’re already connected over IPv4 I’ll close this support. You can reach out to your hosting provider also regarding this.

If you run into any further issues within the scope of Site Kit where we can assist be sure to reach out. Best of luck.
