    Hi,

    I received the following error:

Your site may not be ready for Site Kit

Looks like your site is having a technical issue with requesting data from Google services.
To get more help, ask a question on our support forum and include the text of the original error message:
    google_api_connection_fail

I installed Health & Troubleshooting, opened troubleshooting mode then opened Site Kit. It produced the same error.

Many thanks for sharing. It looks like your have a Windows setup, with other users reporting encountering the same issue based on their PHP configuration.

In order to proceed with Site Kit setup can you ask your hosting if there are any restrictions such as WAF rules or PHP/SSL configurations which is not allowing your site to connect to https://sitekit.withgoogle.com?

If your hosting provide isn’t able to provide any additional insights feel free to share a video or screen recording of your experience, with Chrome developer tools open, showing any console errors which appear. You can use a service such as RecordIt or Loom to share.

@ltbmarketing As we haven’t received a response, I’ll mark this as resolved. Feel free to open a new support topic if you continue to encounter issues, or reopen this topic and we’d be happy to assist. Thank you!

Hi, I need to reopen this ticket. Got the following error

Unknown Error (code: cURL error 60: SSL certificate problem: unable to get local issuer certificate). To fix this, redo the plugin setup.

No problem, I’ve reopened that now. In order to troubleshoot this can you please follow the steps in the previous correspondence and let me what your hosting provider informs you, while providing a video if possible should the issue persist?

@ltbmarketing Thanks for the update. It seems likely that this is also related to your hosting provider. Other users were able to proceed with setup by modifying PHP versions or making changes at server level. Can you please give that a try and let us know if you continue to experience this error?

EDIT: Apologies, this is a duplicate reply!
