Google Workspace with WordPress

  • I’m looking to setup Google Workspace emailing with my WordPress mutlisite setup. I’m self-hosting on a Linode VPS. I tried to follow the instructions here with no avail. I would ideally like to use SMTP relay if possible, which are found here. Every guide I follow uses a payed plugin (WP Mail SMTP), but I’d prefer to set it up myself if possible.

    To override WordPress’s built-in mailer and send messages through an external service, there should be several non-paid options available in the plugin directory:

    Maybe try out another plugin. Google Workspace should be compatible with several existing ones.
