When I google articles for the website AIPlifestlye.com, there are no images that show up, even though almost all the recipes have images. Then, in Google webmaster tools is says there are no rich snippets. We’ve been using this plugin for over 6 months.

Also, in the WP admin it says the plugin is up to date, which is Version 1.1.6. Yet, it’s not an option when posting this comment.

Please help. It takes a lot of extra work to fill in the recipe card and I really need it to comply with schema.org

    Thanks for any help.

    Hi –

Can you please share some example links that are having trouble? I’d be happy to look into it.

The website is: aiplifestyle.com Google Webmaster Tools doesn’t seem to see any rich snippets.

Thanks again. Love the plugin otherwise.

When I checked one of your recipes using Google’s tool, everything related to the recipe looked fine:

We use schema.org, so if you scroll down to that section, you’ll see the correct markup. Also, the preview at the top looks correct.

Can you send me a link that isn’t working so that I can take a look?

    Hi ziggyzip –

How do we edit the Rich Snippet? Do we do that in WordPress or Google or somewhere else? I thought Rich Snippet were automatically created when we send a sitemap.

I sent my sitemap and google says: “We do not detect any structured data on your site” and it’s a frustrating. Is it because of the Rich Snippet thing? Please Help ??

Also, what is the difference between Meta Description and Rich Snippet? I thought Meta Description was the informations of your page on google search, now people say Rich Snippet is what we see on Google Search. I am confused.

    Hi –

Recipe Card automatically adds the structured data to your recipes. To verify that it is working, use this tool provided by Google:

    https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/richsnippets

Be sure to test a URL that contains a Recipe Card recipe.

simplycarli, you might want to create your own thread for this. This is marked [resolved] by either the moderators, the plugin authors, or the original poster, so the likelyhood of someone looking at your post is low.
