Google Webmaster Crawl Errors – Adding /URL

May we see a link to your website?

this is normal for GWT I also have similar errors for my websites. after some time google will delete these urls from your GWT dashboard. there is video on GoogleWebmaster channel on youtube it gives hint by google crawler shows these urls which is not part of website. I don’t remember link but you get help on youtube channel.

The website is https://cloudtimes.org/.

It doesn’t seem that GWT is deleting them from the website – I’ve had them for too long. The link to the YouTube video would be helpful – due to its nature it’s difficult to search for this error.

actually they are only in GWT errors log. on website you will not find anything.

According to GWT it is linked from:

https://cloudtimes.org/2012/09/27/software-security-hosting-stocks-upswing/

and another site – probably spam (you need to remove the spaces)

Maybe this spam site is the problem?

I currently have about 6000 of these errors. Always the same concept – adding the letters /URL to otherwise correct URLs.

You do not actually have a URL like:

https://cloudtimes.org/2012/09/27/software-security-hosting-stocks-upswing/URL

Where do you find the spam link?

it is creation of google webmaster tool. don’t worried about it. it takes months when GWT will remove it.

I would add this to robots.txt and forget about it:
Disallow /*/URL

but it is not a url which on his website so no need to worry about it.
@mtantow you can visit google webmaster forum there you will get best help. because it more related to google tool not to wordpress.
