google webmaster crawl error url error 404 redirect? confused!

    Hi! i am confused about this. I want to say that my website is working fine https://www.unlockchiropractic.com. I think it is structurally sound from a technical and SEO standpoint (correct me if i’m wrong).

    my main issues is the crawl errors which indicates a 404 errors. I have 26 URL errors according to webmaster tools on google.

    I realize it may have to do with the permalink structure because I look at what the crawl errors pinpointed. For example, the crawl error says that there is a 404 error on old URL on https://www.unlockchiropractic.com/2012/08/01/firstvisit/ …but my current new URL for that is https://www.unlockchiropractic.com/firstvisit

    so i’d like to fix the old URL so that I can use the new URL instead.

    I want to fix and make my website more SEO friendly. I even created the sitemap and submitted it to Google, Ask, Yahoo! and Bing so they can be indexed.

    I have the SEO wordpress plugin by YOAST. I also have tried to use this (https://yoast.com/wp-content/permalink-helper.php) to create a redirect match line to edit in the .htaccess which failed because it made my entire website to failed because of redirect loop.

    I would any help! because i do not know how to fix my permalink and redirecting and crawl/URL errors.

    My goal is to make my website SEO friendly and structurally sound from the technical standpoint.
