Google Translate styling issue
-
Hi
If anyone would be able to assist with this issue i would be very grateful.
I have placed the Google Translate dropdown box on my site and would like it to be in the top bar, as this is the only place it makes sense, visually, to place it. However, when i insert it in this place on the template (and ONLY this place) the text “Select Language” in the Google dropdown box drops down to a second line and therefore disappears behind the border for the next section of the site.
Please visit Scorpion TV to see the issue in the top left corner.
It must have something to do with CSS i guess, but nothing i can change has any effect on the layout of this Google box. I have used Firebug to systematically temporarily block certain parts of the CSS but it seems that the only thing which makes a difference is blocking the “white-space: nowrap” call, but the thing is, the particular call to this feature is on the remote Google servers, swo i cant change it and am pretty sure that cant be the issue.
Has anyone had similar issues to this and can shed any light as to what i need to change on my own site to stop this irritating little issue? I would be VERY grateful.
